Autumn is proving to be a busy time for Vine, with regular new enquiries being received through GP referrals, personal recommendation, website enquiries, Google search, passers by who see the sign, word of mouth and clients returning. We continue to focus on providing the maximum number of appointments we can which at present is around 35 per week. We welcome three new Counsellors in Training to the team at Vine and a new qualified Counsellor too.
We do still have a vacancy for a volunteer qualified Counsellor and if this is you and you feel able to offer a few hours a week, please contact us (some supervision costs and a training budget will be provided).
Our volunteer reception team is currently at 12 lovely ladies who help out on a rota basis, some every week, some fortnightly, some monthly. Each one is appreciated and valued by the agency as an important part of the service provided as Vine have a 'no lone working' policy.
We cannot rely entirely on donations from clients to fund the service we provide. We have to raise money all year round, through events, one off donations, legacies, individual fundraising efforts, grants, Church donations and our Five Year Friends who pay something each month. Our fundraising committee meets every 2/3 months to plan the vital events which help keep the service running. We are in need of more volunteers to join the fundraising team, helping plan around 4 large events each year. If you feel able to help please make contact.
Please contact Liz Linnitt by email on firstname.lastname@example.org if you can help in any way mentioned above.

Did you know...
That only approximately half of the funds needed to run the services we provide comes from client donations?
The other income comes from grants, one-off donations, five year friends, local business support and fundraising events organised by the Vine team.
